• Parents In Action is an organization of parents, whose goal is to support the families and staff of our school. We want to assist in making the experiences you and your children have be positive and enriching. YOU! Every parent, teacher and support staff is a member of this organization.

Who is it?

• Everyone is a member of PIA and invited to be involved. YES, YOU are already a member so why not get involved! From the members, 6 voting representatives from each campus are elected and serve as the guiding core of PIA, working collaboratively with the schoo l principals and a parish liaison.
• Representatives and officers are elected to the positions at an annual meeting by you and other parents. The representatives also make up the chairs of the following sub-committees: Community Building Activities, Fund Development, Parent Education Programs, School Environment Activities, Staff Appreciation and Volunteer Programming .
• Everyone is welcome to participate to the extent that they can - so come to a meeting and offer ideas, join a committee or find out how you can help at PIA activities.

Why is it important to me?

• Each committee establishes a program that is designed to support our school in some manner. It consists of caring individuals who are working to enhance your child's and your family's experiences at our school.
• It is supporting the hard work that our administrative team and staff do to make our children's learning nothing but top-notch. It supports the high quality education our children receive by attending our schools.

What can I do to help?

• GET INVOLVED! Review the attached information and complete the Volunteer form. Even if you can only volunteer for limited times, it is worthwhile and needed.
